Getting around
- Point at a card
- The keys below act on the card under the pointer — there is no selected card
- F Enter
- Focus mode — the card fills the screen; ←→ step through the cards
- Space
- Turn the card over — its other face, or face down
- Space + drag
- Move the mat — or drag with two fingers on the trackpad
- S
- Switch between select and pan. In pan, click and drag anywhere to move the mat
- U
- Untap all — every tapped card on your table stands back up. Not in Mirror my table
- M
- Mirror my table: match the mat to what the camera sees. Undo puts it back
- Drag on the mat
- In select: mark every card the box touches — ⇧ adds, ⇧-click adds or removes one card. Drag a marked card to move them all; T taps them all; Esc or a click on the mat clears
- Drag a mana stack
- Moves the whole stack — a click still taps just the card you hit. ⌃ Ctrl + drag takes one card out of the stack (⌥ works too), as does ⋯ on the card
- Esc
- Close overlay / leave the search box

- This pane
How Mesa reads a screenshot: it first looks for the video panes (black gaps separate them),
then for dark card borders against the light table in each pane, and finally matches every hit against the cards in your deck.
Only cards that match clearly are added automatically — the rest end up in the confirm row at the top.
Matching happens against your deck (the Mesa menu, top left → My decks). That is what makes it work:
a hundred cards can be told apart visually, all 30,000 MTG cards cannot.
Card data and images come from Scryfall.
